I just received an FB link to some info regarding transportation services for the Caribana weekend. I can't say that I have ever seen this service provided before and I think it's a fabulous idea:
Do you see the benefits? No DRINKING and DRIVING...no crowded bus, no over expensive cab and save on hotel costs!! What more can you ask for??
If you know any groups needing transportation for Caribana weekend, please let me know...I'm providing a service with pick-up, drop off and return rates...just need the day, time and location. Rates Negotiable outside of designated pick up points!!
Pick Up points are as follows: McCowan and Steeles, Markham and Progress, Vaughn Mills, Jane and Steeles, Dufferin and Lawrence, Square One and Rathburn and Dixie---going into the city...booking times may vary. For Advanced and On-Call Bookings, or Inquiries

Hi, this is my first time in Toronto and I wanted to know where the parade starts and ends?
Where's the best place to watch?
Always a great idea to have someone else drive, especially on Caribana weekend. Not just to avoid driving while impaired by alcohol but also from being tired.
It will be interesting to see if it catches on well with GTA'ers.
Hi BettyJ, welcome to Toronto. So glad you good join in the fun. The parade starts at Exhibition Place and ends near Parkside Drive on Lakeshore Boulevard. I think the best place to watch the parade is actually in the seated are at Exhibition Place, however there is a $20 charge for seating. If you can manage to get a spot near the Exhibition seating area then I think you will have the best view of all the bands as they parade in their sections. Once bands leave the judging area at Exhibition Place and hit the Lakeshore its time to free up and people rarely stay in their sections. I hope this helps!!!
