Advance Registration for SOCACIZE™ Boot camp & SOCACIZE™ in Regina, Saskatchewan!

We had a breathless class in Brampton last Sunday with the drums.
Nation, our drummer, had us panting and sweating - out of breath - with the energizing Caribbean and African rhythms.
Nation played – the djembe (pronounced /?d??mbe?/ JEM-bay).
It is also known as djimbe, jenbe, jymbe, jembe, yembe, or jimbay, or sanbanyi. It’s a skin covered hand drum, shaped like a large goblet, and meant to be played with bare hands. According to the Bamana people in Mali , the name “djembe” comes directly from the saying "Anke dje, anke be" which translates to "everyone gather together", and defines the drum's purpose. "Dje" is the verb for "gather" in Bamanakan, and "be" translates as "everyone" in Bamanakan.

In the Callaloo.......

I've seen pics of this Callaloo costume in several online galleries and it had me wondering........what kind of top was under that neckpiece??? Well, I was just checking out TriniJungleJuice's photo gallery and I now realize that there is no top......its body paint!!!! So let's here it people........ as skimpy as some of the costumes are this year and given the fact that its legal for women to go topless in Toronto......would you dare to go down the Lakeshore with just body paint covering the twins?

P.S.
I'm not sure what the name of the section is yet......waiting for the Callaoo site to launch!
