Toronto Carnival Opening Church Service this Sunday

NEW EVENT: OPENING & CLOSING CHURCH SERVICES TO OFFER PRAISE AND WORSHIP AS PART OF 2012 FESTIVAL

July 7, 2012 (Toronto) – Among several new additions to this year’s Festival events will be two church services. The Festival Management Committee welcomes the public to attend both an Opening Church service on Sunday July 15th and a Closing Thanksgiving Service on Sunday August 12th to share in praise and worship during the Toronto Caribbean Carnival season.  

The Opening Church service will take place Sunday July 15th, 2012 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Revival Time Tabernacle located at 4340 Dufferin Street, North York, ON [between Sheppard Ave. and Finch Ave.] led by Reverend Aubrey James.  There will be a reception immediately following the service from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  All are welcome.

The Closing Thanksgiving service will take place Sunday August 12th, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. at the St. James Cathedral located at 65 Church Street, Toronto, ON led by The Right Reverend Dean Douglas Stoute.
