Seeing as they all have their themes months in advance, I wonder if they will actually produce a final product in time. I would love to go to the mas camp ONCE and have my stuff ready, and be out of there in 20 minutes MAX! Is that too much to ask for when you're paying $200 for a costume that has $30 worth of materials?

The above is the most stupid comment I have heard in a long time. First of all a costume costs at least $60-70 to make. I am not sure where you would get this long time figure from? Yuh mean long time it could cost $30 and masqueraders paid $100.

Secondly how the hell section leaders could afford to spend numerous hour making costumes and not get reimbursed for their time? Where on earth you would get a costume for the price it costs in toronto? Not Trinidad for sure. Toronto is the cheapest n all the festival cities.

Thirdly how the hell yuh going to get food and water? You expect to get this for free too? No, if you want food and water on the road you have to pay for it and this comes out of the cost of the $200 per costume.

Damn I hate people airing their holes when they really don't know what they speak of...
