Good day everyone!
Once again, we are presenting Ol' Time Carnival. This time, we go to back to the Gonzales Cocoa Plantation the night before the first Carnival and bear witness to the Bacchanal in d' Plantation Yard!
We are pleased once more to be part of the City of Toronto Arts in the Park events - this year, we will be at Confederation Park (Markham and Ellesmere) on Sunday July 29th at 3:00 pm. This is a free, open air event which is family-friendly and will have narration, music and dance.
As well, we will partake in the King and Queen show on August 2nd at Lamport Stadium.
Our passion is to tell the story of Carnival and to showcase the traditional arts and costumes from where Carnival started. Carnival is more than beads and feathers - it tells a great story of emancipation, celebration and creativity.
We will schedule a media day once (in July) more to provide the opportunity for you, the Media to dig a little deeper and see the production process first hand. I will notify you well in advance of the event.
Should you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to reach out, any time.
